Izdevums “Latvju dainas” laika posmā no 1894. – 1915. gadam izdots sešos sējumos. Barons kā “door to door salesmen” gāja un vāca rīmes, ar kurām piekrāmēja pilnu skapi. Skapis tik liels, ka atsevišķu stāvu vajadzēja Gaismas Pilī tam atvēlēt. 217996 rīmes kā nekā. Jaunieši teiktu, ka džekam bija daudz ghostwriteri. Ghostwriter – Spoku rakstnieks – Mākslinieks, kuram citi saraksta viņa tekstus.
